ALMOST TWO-AND-A-HALF

At 2 years and 4 months, Rowan is gaining new skills at quite a rapid pace. He often speaks in complete sentences, he's in the process of learning the alphabet, and he counts to 10 with ease. He's also becoming adept at puzzles and playing catch, and he even plays the harmonica. Most of the time he's an absolute joy to be around, full of charm and good cheer.

Of course he loves the playground.

He really dug hanging with Daddy at Chuck E CHeeze. Daddy, on the other hand, was not a big fan, but we made it out okay in the end.

After so much action, Rowan needs a nap! Usually he naps in his crib for a couple of hours after lunch, but this particular morning he was too tired to even make it to lunchtime!

Bath time is even more fun when Rowan's friends Lucas and Ashley join in!

Too much excitement!

At night before bed, Rowan loves sitting down with Mommy or Daddy for 20 or 30 minutes of book-reading. These days his favorite is Dr. Seuss's "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", and he's even begun memorizing his favorite parts.
