From pumpkin-carving...
...to trick-or-treating...
...it was time to get in the Halloween spirit! Check out more here.
STS9 IN BIRMINGHAM
Rob made the 2-1/2 hour drive to Birmingham to meet up with a friend and catch one of our all-time favorite bands. Check it out here.
WEEN IN OXFORD
The wildly eclectic, hard-rockin' Ween came to town on a recent Thursday night. Check it out here.
FOOTBALL SATURDAY IN OXFORD
Rowan loved his first visit to The Grove, where football fans gather for Ole Miss home games to share food, drink and good times. It was especially good seeing Uncle Barrett (Carley's brother), who was in town with Molly for the game. Click here for more photos.
A LAZY SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN OXFORD
When you don't have the energy to get out of town, it's always nice to have good places to go in town, like a good park...
...and a good place to go for lunch and smoothies!
ROWAN'S GOT A NEW FRIEND
Lately Rowan's been wanting to hang out a lot with the little neighbor girl, Taylor. And we have to admit, she is adorable!
SUNDAY NIGHT NFL IN MUSIC CITY
We made it up to Nashville to meet up with Barrett and Molly and catch a Tennessee Titans game against the Indianapolis Colts!
Our drive home from Nashville took us down the scenic Natchez Trace.
ROB'S VISIT TO SAN FRANCISCO
Rob recently flew out to San Francisco for a weekend, where he got to catch up with lots of old friends and see a free music festival in Golden Gate Park.

The main reason Rob was in Northern California was to be at his buddy Allan's wedding, which was a seriously good time.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CONFERENCE IN PUERTO RICO

Carley's job sometimes takes her to some pretty interesting places, but this year's National Conference on Geography Education was extra-special.
HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY, ROWAN!
We celebrated Rowan's 3rd birthday with a pirate party, and friends came in from Tupelo and Starkville for the occasion.
DEREK TRUCKS IN OXFORD
It was a treat seeing virtuoso guitarist Derek Trucks in town on a recent Tuesday night. Check it out here.
LABOR DAY GETAWAY
For Labor Day weekend we took a little road trip over to Florence, Alabama with Carley's parents, but it was all about the pool!
SLEEPOVERS ARE FUN!
Now that we live in Oxford, we're trying to get all of our Tupelo friends to come visit. The latest guests were Niki and Jonathan and precious Ansley.

Good thing we have plenty of crash space, since it's a 45-minute drive for them to get back home.
Much more fun to stay here on a Saturday night!
SWIMMING AT SARDIS LAKE
THE DON MYERS MEMORIAL IN MISSOURI

Carley's best friend Peachy's dad died, so we loaded up for a last-minute roadtrip to Rolla.
A VISIT WITH ROB'S FAMILY IN PENNSYLVANIA
Carley was super-busy with her new job, so Rob and Rowan skipped town for a week to get in some more family time with Rob's mom and sister Brandi. Click here for more photos, including our day-trip to New Jersey for the Land of Make Believe!
FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND AT THE BEACH

Once again we made the 7-hour drive to the Floriday Panhandle to spend the holiday weekend with Carley's family at Santa Rosa Beach. Click here for more photos.
BONNAROO!
Once again, the Bonnaroo Music Festival was a major highlight of our summer, and we saw all kinds of great music. Click here for lots of photos and musical highlights.
OUR NEW HOUSE!
We finally made the move to Oxford, and while we're still unpacking, we're already loving it here. (Check out more photos of the house and of Oxford.) We moved all our stuff into the house on Wednesday, June 10, then headed up to Tennessee for...
CARLEY'S NEW JOB AT UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI
As we mentioned in a post a couple months ago, Carley got started a new job at University of Mississippi. She's now the assistant director of the Mississippi Geographic Alliance. Click here for more news about Carley's new job, and click here to catch up on what Rob's up to at work these days.
